Well, the year has certainly flown by fast. I can’t believe what we have accomplished. The guild has pulled together fabulously and is on an upward path guaranteed to generate new members and interests in the puppet world. Next month is my last meeting as your president. And….I’m sorry to say it will be the only meeting I couldn’t make this year. I have previous contract obligations up in Carmel. But the meeting will be in the capable hands of Michael Burroughs. I will continue to be elected president until July 2004. At that time, the new board is due to take over. Please come forward and represent your guild. The guild is not successful through the ablities of one puppeteer, but through the abilities of many, sharing their talents. Patty Wick is scheduled to take over as Newsletter editor next month, and in the June newsletter I will be listing the accomplishments and the offerings of the members that have made 2003/2004 so memorable.
